You’re in the right place. We’ve been raising healthy, friendly, and beautiful Retrievers for over 30 years. Every litter born here is raised with experienced care and lots of TLC. Our puppies are well socialized with children and adults, on a proven health schedule, vet checked and health certified, and go to their new homes with a comprehensive guarantee and lifetime support.
When you bring your puppy home from Line Mountain Retrievers, you can rest assured that he/she was bred with care and raised with long-term health and temperament in mind.
Over several decades, we’ve remained steadfast in our commitment to produce only puppies bred to the standard. For our Labs, this means we only breed black, chocolate, and yellow colors, as recognized in the AKC standard. Our priority is to preserve the original character and looks of the Labrador Retriever.
The Labrador Retriever was bred to work and we love to see our puppies go to homes that will keep them active and mentally-stimulated. This can look different for all families, but Labs can serve many purposes from service dogs to agility champions to hunting masters to ‘best family companion.’
For our Goldens, this means we breed our puppies to the AKC standard, rather than breeding for “specialty” colors. Our Goldens exhibit all the well-loved characteristics of the breed, such as a docile temperament and playful personality.
All puppies born here at Line Mountain Retrievers are registrable with the AKC and we encourage new owners to register their new puppy and take advantage of the many programs and educational resources that the AKC has to offer, including the S.T.A.R. puppy training program, breed education, purebred resources, networking with other purebred owners in your area, and even shows.
In addition to keeping our dogs to the breed standard for temperament and conformation, our top priority is health and longevity. That’s why our dogs are selected from healthy lines that have minimal hereditary issues. Our breeding dogs are checked regularly by our veterinarian to ensure their suitability for our program and are free from known genetic diseases. This is also why we send every puppy with a comprehensive health guarantee.
We also strive to keep all Line Mountain puppies out of shelters by taking back any puppies that are unable to stay in their new home due to extenuating circumstances. We understand that emergencies can arise and life can change in an instant… and sometimes that means needing to give up your four-legged friend. We always take our puppies back (no matter their age) and place them in new forever homes to avoid putting them through the heart-break of shelter life.
Hi
Hope you all are well😀We just wanted to let you know that we got back from our yearly vet visit. We saw a new veterinarian at the practice we go to and she couldn’t get over how Waveslooked with her eyes, coat, weight etc. She complimented how well she was bred. She was very impressed by her Health ,looks and happy go lucky disposition. I am still not able to go in with Waves due to COVID but I guess Waves was excited to see everyone at the vet lol
I just wanted to share how impressed the Vet was with Waves as a representation of a well bred lab. That is a complement to you all so I thought I would pass it along. ☺️

“August 1st marked one whole year since Lilly and Boomer’s “girl 2” came home with me. Now known as Kimber, she is so sweet, sassy and smart! This past year we’ve been on many adventures and had many new experiences together. She doesn’t shy away from anything! She is such a social butterfly! She still has tons of puppy energy and her favorite way to burn that off is by play time. If a ball is nearby you can bet she will want to play fetch. We’ve continued to work hard during training sessions this past year and she recently earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen title.”

Hello!
Just a note that Jake is doing well! He is now about 3 months and one week old. He is a great dog👍
The vet said he is currently 28 lbs and healthy. His shots are up to date. He is energetic, curious, and is eating well. He loves to walk, hike, and play. He loves all his dog toys. He travels well in our vehicles. He just lays out across the back seat and naps.
Finally, he is one big puppy! He is very strong. His fur is full, thick, and soft. He has very expressive ears. His paws are huge😂😂.
We are blessed to have him in our family. 😊💕
Take care, and Happy Spring!

“Leia has been the best dog for our family. She is super patient with our 3 year old daughter and is always looking out for our 9 month old son, too. She is great on or off leash and is well-behaved in any situation. We took her to a Memorial Day family gathering this year and she quietly sat and watched our family eat and play sports. Even when another dog got loose and ran through our celebration, she remained calm. She has the best temperament we could have ever asked for & she loves the water and going on outdoor adventures with us. She was obviously raised with lots of love and care and we are so grateful to have such a sweet tempered dog with 2 small children.” -Justin S.
